Task Design, make and appraise an artefact which could be used as a teachin" rel="nofollow">ing aid. It must
in" rel="nofollow">include at least two recycled items and have a movin" rel="nofollow">ing part.
Preparation Construct a teachin" rel="nofollow">ing aid which could be used to assist children to understand some
specific educational concept or concepts (for example, in" rel="nofollow">in Maths, SOSE or Science).
The aid should in" rel="nofollow">include at least one movin" rel="nofollow">ing part and be appropriate for the age group
which you in" rel="nofollow">intend to teach
Discuss your ideas and progress with your group.
Document the process of brain" rel="nofollow">instormin" rel="nofollow">ing ideas, decidin" rel="nofollow">ing on your project, stages of
construction (in" rel="nofollow">includin" rel="nofollow">ing frustrations and changes of direction). Write a report of the
process (approx 1000 words). Prepare a pictorial PowerPoin" rel="nofollow">int presentation of the
construction process.
