Design Proposal
• Plan and organise an independent study and demonstrate strategies for effectively managing time and resources;
• Develop a contextual and theoretical understanding of the chosen research topic through selection, documentation, and study of appropriate material;
• Develop a focused argument based on analysis and synthesis of primary and secondary research material and evidence;
• Express a personal position or point of view, distinguishing between own assumptions and those of others;
• Demonstrate a critical response to received information or a critical attitude in investigative research;
• Explain the theoretical basis and present strategies for its application to a design project;
• Discern potential design possibilities relevant to the chosen theme and give examples of spatial conditions appropriate to the conditions of the brief; and
• Exhibit, through the editing and production of the final text, a complete understanding of the conventions and requirements for presentation of research.
