Differentiated Instruction

Imagine that your Administrator has decided to ask you and three other teachers to lead a professional learning community (PLC) on diversity in education. She only wants the best educator to lead this important PLC. As a result, she has requested each of you to complete the following and submit it to her for a final decision: A three to four page summary explaining (and citing) the importance of differentiated instruction How differentiation can increase learning for all students Identify and detail your current strengths and weaknesses with teaching differentiated lessons, specifically in the following: Content Process Product Three strategies you will utilize to increase your weaknesses with supported literature for each strategy Again, you must cite all three strategies from the current literature (a peer-reviewed joumal) and the information you have acquired regarding the importance of differentiated instruction and how it can increase learning for all students.
