  1. The chapter we read by Donnalyn Pompper on Gender suggests that gender is an “organizing principle” for
    identity that, though still ideologically powerful, may be diminishing in its prominence (pp. 113-114). Do you
    agree or disagree (and why), and what would you suggest is the “driving identity” most prominent for yourself,
    in most situations?
    The key is to make sure to also incorporate expectations from the grading rubric (i.e., cite two of our materials
    from this week, incorporate academic as well as personal reflection).
