I researched the latest recommendations from organizations like the American Diabetes Association and found new evidence on the benefits of continuous glucose monitoring and a different class of oral medications. After presenting this research to our clinical team, we revised our protocols. I then used my clinical expertise to tailor these new guidelines to individual patient needs and preferences, such as helping a patient choose a monitoring device that fit their lifestyle. This approach ensures that our patients receive the most effective, cutting-edge care available.
