resources as a starting point: National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV); state police crime
reports and statistics; U.S. Department of Justice and Bureau of Justice Statistics; and the National
Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV). Record the number of reports, arrests, and convictions you
find.
b) Next, explore and document what support services are available to families who are victimized by
abuse in MN and your county.
c) Compare the reported rates of violence to the availability of services. Are there sufficient resources?
d) Finally, write a 200-word discussion post about your findings to share with the class. Make sure you
appropriately cite your sources.
