A child in your family has asked you for a doll as a birthday present. You wait until the last minute to shop and there are only two choices left at the store — one doll that has a very unrealistic thin image, such as a Barbie doll, and another that is a doll depicting an overweight or obese person. You have to buy one because you know the child will be crushed if no doll is received as a gift. Which one would you buy, and why? What are the potential pros and cons of either choice?
