Ecological Systems Interview

There are two parts to this paper so please separate the parts. Ecological Systems Interview Part 1 For this assignment, students will interview a parent/family in order to analyze the elements of ecological systems theory at work in the family. There are two parts to this assignment. For the first part you should (1) familiarize yourself with the 5 environmental systems discussed in Ecological System Theory, and (2) conduct your interviews/observation of the family (a minimum two hours) and (3) submit your typed observation notes. These notes should be divided into 6 sections: Introduction, Microsystem, Mesosystem, Exosystem, Macrosystem, and Chronosystem. At least 3 pages long. No references are required for Part 1 of the assignment. Ecological Systems Interview Part 2 You should have conducted observations for this assignment and submitted your typed notes. For this week you should submit both a 3 to 4 page written paper and a visual representation of the family’s ecological system. The paper should be divided into 7 sections: Introduction, Microsystem, Mesosystem, Exosystem, Macrosystem, Chronosystem, and Conclusion. In this paper you should discuss elements of each system based on your interview and observation of the family. You should support each section with quotes and ideas from your course text or other outside research. It is critically important that you not only discuss elements of each system, but also discuss the impact of these elements on the child and family. The visual representation should be modeled after the image below (I will attach the image), with concentric circles for each system and elements identified within each system that are specific to this family. You may draw or create this by hand and submit a picture or create it electronically. APA requirements for this assignment are as follows: Title page (no headings need to be included); pages numbered; overall APA formatting with one inch margins, double spacing, and recommended font. For Part 2 of this assignment, you should include a reference page. Textbooks of the class: Berger, E.H., & Riojas-Cortez. M. (2015).
