Over the first half of this course, we have discussed many microeconomics concepts including opportunity cost, production possibility frontier, trade and globalization, role of government, supply and demand, and price elasticity of demand. During this COVID-19 pandemic, the US has experienced a shortage of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), disinfecting products, and personal care products such as toilet tissue and paper products, to name a few items. In a 2-page type-written essay, briefly discuss the supply and demand relationship of any TWO goods that are and have been in shortage during this pandemic. Discussion must include price elasticity of
demand and supply of the two goods you have selected. You can use your state/country as reference when identifying goods in shortage. You must illustrate concept of supply and demand
using graphs and explain the reason for shifts and/or movements in supply and demand curves.
