Economics (Ted Talk on poverty)

This assignment entails the viewing of a Ted Talk on poverty and researching a particular country mentioned in the talk. In this research and subsequent essay, you will need to describe the economic conditions, including the poverty rate and the Gini-coefficient, and a few of the advancements that are taking place in the country. You will need to include possible measures to alleviating a portion of the poverty and you need to support your decisions with in-text references. The final document will include a well-formatted Title page, a minimum of 1,500 words of discussion, a minimum of 5 references (with in-text citations). The reference list will be the last page of the report unless you include graphs, which must be in the appendix. Direct quotes cannot exceed 150 words in total. Varying from these directions will result in a reduction of point value at my discretion.
