Education policy conflict

For policy-oriented papers, you will begin by providing a setting and history of a particular education policy conflict, followed by a literature review that identifies and defines a policy problem in a clear and well supported way. Policy papers will then offer a range of potential policy solutions while making a case for a particular preferred alternative policy fix. It is suggested that you contact at least one or two key players in the field in doing your research. A traditional research paper usually asks a good question about something that has happened in the past or tells the story of a particular education conflict in a case study format. Usually there is an argument or thesis that is advanced to explain some aspect of the conflict.
