Gain experience in researching information on a non-fiction work that
has been written on food science. The focus will be on both on the chapter you have been assigned, as well as
the rest of the text to tie your information together. You are expected to use at least THREE outside sources,
only one of which should be a website, to back-up or disprove Wolke’s information. The following is the outline
for the project:
- Propose a media source for your presentation to your instructor.
- Read the assigned chapter for your team, as well as the remainder of the book, and create a presentation
that discusses the information in the chapter. Be creative in your approach to the presentation.
Suggested ideas:Introduction of the chapter What are the ideas discussed? Give some history on the on the
components of the chapter. i.e., chocolate. Did Wolke give enough information? The right information? What
experiments could be done to prove or disprove any theories presented? Definitions are helpful.And, you could
choose one of the following if you are at a loss for what to do:Newscast or Cooking demonstration or Jeopardy. - Wolke is an excellent writer, and you must present his work in a way that your presentation will show his
knowledge and humor
