You will create your own PowerPoint Presentation
Design and Create a PowerPoint presentation on an Emerging Technology of your choice and save file with name à
YourLastNameEmergingTechnologies.pptx. In this project, you will do research on emerging technologies and prepare a minimum of 12 slides as
described below.
❖ In Google, type the query top 10 emerging technologies in the current year (replace current year by the present year such as 2016 or other relevant
year specified by the instructor). Click on various technologies listed to see which ones interest you most. Select two to conduct research on.
❖ Prepare a title slide that includes names of the emerging technologies you selected and did research on. Type your name as the presenter with
other info as desired.
❖ On the second slide, list all top 10 emerging technologies listed in Google in your research. Highlight the two you plan to discuss.
❖ Conduct research on the two of the top 10 you selected.
❖ Prepare at least 8 more slides (4 on each topic preferred) from the information you found on Web sites. Use bulleted list, some colored text,
bolding, italics, and pictures as needed on slides. You may do more than 4 slides for each technology.
❖ On the 11th slide, summarize your findings i.e. write the conclusions. Use 2-content slide to summarize each technology in columns.
❖ Use slide layout of two content for at least two slides; put picture on right and text on left
❖ Use at least 5-6 bullets on each slide. For each slide, write explanation in the Notes section below as to what you will say when presenting your
PPT presentation to a group. If you prefer, you may record your comments and submit the audio recording along with PPT presentation.
❖ Click on Animation tab and apply one of it to all your slides
❖ On the 12th slide (i.e. the last slide if more than 12 slides), list the credits for the web sites you did your research on (you can copy and paste links
to the web site(s) where you obtained your information.)
❖ Apply a style and a theme of your choice.
❖ Apply transitions of your choice to ALL slides.
❖ Apply animation effects of your choice to some pictures/bullets on a slide
