Annotated Bibliography
At its most basic, an annotated bibliography is simply a list (in" rel="nofollow">in MLA format) of the sources you plan on usin" rel="nofollow">ing, and a short description of each source. See our class website for examples of how to
format the annotated bibliography.
First, list the sources in" rel="nofollow">in MLA format, 8th edition.
Second, write a 2-5 sentence description of each source, underneath the citation. Tell me how it is relevant, what it says, and how you thin" rel="nofollow">ink it will be helpful to your research essay.
The annotated bibliography must contain" rel="nofollow">in at least ten sources. You will critically evaluate the sources you fin" rel="nofollow">ind (not JUST summarizin" rel="nofollow">ing them), which will help you select those that you fin" rel="nofollow">ind most
valuable to in" rel="nofollow">include in" rel="nofollow">in your writin" rel="nofollow">ing.
