Environmental health
Find and interview a worker about their job and possible occupational exposures (chemical, physical, ergonomic, biological). Write a summarizing paper including at least the following: * Who this person is in relation to you, what kind of work they do, and their typical work day. * What are the most hazardous aspects of their job? These aspects can be per the worker and per your own observations. What makes these aspects hazardous? * Are they adequately protected from harm? Why or why not? * Are there regulations in place that govern the most hazardous aspects of their job? If so, what are they? Do you think they are adequate? Why or why not? * What more could be done by the worker, the employer, and/or society to better protect them? * Have they ever worked with a health and safety professional (a trainer, consultant, specialist on their staff, etc.)? Was it helpful? What role do you think that health and safety professionals have in helping to improve the lives of workers? Your paper should be ~2 pages (not longer) in length, Times New Roman 12-point font, 1” margins, double spaced, with references used appropriately and included at the end (references do not count towards 2 page limit). You have more time with this assignment, so make sure that your work is free of obvious grammatical or stylistic errors.
