write a 5 pages’ paper following the below instructions Read chapters 11-13 (The Practical) in the text. As you read, think about the idea of sustainability. Bell calls it the Ecological Society, and talks about (1) WHY we should become more ecological (sustainable), and (2) HOW we can do that. Think especially about his "dialogue of solidarities", and the "environmental sociological imagination". Think about how those would point to a more sustainable society for humans, animals, and the planet. Then, write an essay on the following topic. When we talk about sustainability, what are we talking about? Why are we talking about it now, and why does global warming play such a big role? Discuss the ways that modern industrial society and global warming are making human society less sustainable, and then talk about ways we can remake a society to be more sustainable, or, in the textbook's terms, a more Ecological Society.
