Epiglottitis

    Identify the critical factors in managing a patient with epiglottis. In particular, the narrator of the video recommends the patient should be administered an antibiotic. From your reading of other articles, and perhaps from the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence would you use antibiotics to treat the patient? If yes, which ones would you consider? If no, then what is the recommended course of treatment? We would like you to debate on the approach taken to remove a toothbrush from a patients nasal space.
