The poetry of Wheatley and Bradstreet, as well as the sermon by Jonathan Edwards, feature, to put it
mildly, a dominant religious theme and presence. Discuss the differences in which Wheatley, Bradstreet,
and Edwards express themselves about religion. The differences are yours to choose and discover, but
some differences might be each individual’s use of language or degree of salvation vs. damnation
expressed. As you discuss, writing about all three works, again do not be afraid to agree and/or disagree
with the three authors.
