Identify an ethical challenge or dilemma that an organisation has confronted - this year the case is Amazon and its founder, Jeff Bezos. Over the past year, there have been a number of noteworthy events in the media which are related to Amazon and its staff. Some of these are relevant to communication in the organisation, others are not (remember, organisations communicate externally at the same time as they communicate with internal stakeholders). It is your task to decide and then once you have familiarised yourself with the organisation, identify the issue and critically evaluate the ways in which the organisation responded. Provide examples of ethical issues illustrated in the case, and suggest how these may be addressed. Suggest how the organisation may have improved their handling of the situation and perhaps communicated more ethically and effectively.
