I believe the biggest ethical challenge for nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic has been that of providing adequate care and treatment to all patients whilst also protecting staff from exposure to the virus. This is especially important in settings such as hospitals where care must be provided without compromising safety standards. As COVID-19 continues its spread, it is becoming increasingly difficult for nurses to ensure they are adequately protecting themselves while still providing quality care and ensuring patient safety.
