  ethical Dilemma case illustration   Each student will research an ethical and legal dilemma commonly confronting professional school counselors (e.g., suicidal ideation, distributing presсrіption drugs, parents or guardians challenging confidentiality). Following the identification of the dilemma, students will construct a case illustrating the ethical and/or legal dilemma. Following the case illustration, students will present how they would ethically and legally handle the dilemma using professional ethical guidelines and legal statues (federal, state, case), while considering multicultural considerations. Students will discuss their case illustrations with the class and discuss their proposed processes to ethically address the situations. This assignment will comply with the APA (2010) Publication Manual (students do not need an Abstract page, but please include a Title & Reference page [Times New Roman, 12 font, 1 inch margin s on all sides, running head]) and be approximately 7-10 pages in length (not including the title page – should have a minimum of seven [7] references).
