Evaluation Planning
Plan your evaluation approach for two prototypes. Use the same evaluations on both prototypes if possible to facilitate direct comparison between the two. You should evaluate the prototypes in multiple ways; these could be multiple evaluations within the same category (e.g. surveys, and think-aloud protocols), While predictive evaluation may be employed, your evaluation should not only be predictive evaluation; every group should include either qualitative or empirical (or both). Make sure to justify the evaluations you selected.

Qualitative Evaluation
The participants will be students and it will be recruited through survey website. The evaluation will take place online at the survey website and it will record the responses of the participants
We picked survey as the method for qualitative evaluation for first prototype. In this prototype, we proposed

Content of Evaluation
1. What is your age?
2. What is your gender?
3. Do you listen to music while exercising?
4. Are the prototypes shown visually appealing?
5. Do you agree the prototype offers the user the ability to search for a specific song or singer while music is playing? If no, what would help?
6. Do you agree the prototype offers the user the ability to search or shuffle the song using a voice interface? It no, what would help?
7. Did the voice interface grab your attention?
8. Why or why not?
9. What can be improved on the prototype?
10. Additional comments/ concerns
Help us gauge whether the prototype meets the requirements of the data inventory:
The survey will have questions that address how
Predictive Evaluation
We will create a GOMS model of the operators, methods and selection rules used by the user to perform key tasks identified in the requirements gathering.
For this evaluation, we will focus on ‘search bar and voice search’ tasks for the user
We will be addressing a goal that a user knows how to do … the goal will be to search bar and voice search while exercising. There are different methods to completing this tasks….
Type of Analysis: GOMS Model
Operators
Select
We will be completing the qualitative evaluation survey and the predictive evaluation GOMS model. The qualitative evaluation will help us to define the user’s preferences and thoughts about the prototypes. The predictive evaluation will help us the efficiency of completing a task on the prototype.
