Evidence Based Research Order Description   The text states that research translation is “the final and most important step of the research process.” Do you agree? Why or why not? Can research have value that is not applied to nursing practice? The author notes that the strongest evidence for nursing practice is provided when multiple studies report the same results. Do you agree, or do you believe that single studies can be as valuable if designed correctly? If the studies are mediocre – but all arrive at the same conclusion – would you still consider it strong evidence for practice? Why or why not? Why is a systematic review considered the strongest type of evidence for practice?? What characteristics of the systematic review differentiate it from a traditional literature review? What are the advantages of a systematic review? Drawbacks? Contrast the six models for research utilization presented in the text. What are their common elements and characteristics? How is each unique? Select a patient care problem and illustrate how one of the models might be used to assure research uptake.
