Excel question

You work for a large health insurance company that has just won a large national client (1000 members spread all across the United States). In order to make sure that there is a smooth transition, you have created a file(referring to the tab “Question 2 Exec File” in Question 2 Data.xlsx) containing all the relevant information about the executives at this client company for easy access (since you want to make sure to make a good impression by having everything available quickly to handle any questions or issues).

But, first, you need to make sure that the information in your file matches what information you have in the system (referring to the tab “Question 2 Mmbrship File” in Question 2 Data.xlsx). And, since everything in health insurance is referenced by ID number, that is what you are going to need to confirm matches in both files. Using VLOOKUP, compare the ID Numbers in the Executive File tab (labeled “Question 2 – Exec File”) to the ID Numbers in the Membership File tab (labeled “Question 2 – Mbrship File”)

(HINT: to make it easy, once you have used VLOOKUP, use the IF command in Excel for easy matching. Type in “=IF([cellreference1]=[cellreference2], “Yes”, “No”)” where the 2 cell references are the cells you are trying to match).
