Attend External Energy Related Meeting
Remotely attend an external meeting relevant to an energy issue. It may concern anything in the energy and
environmental realm. If you are not sure if a meeting is an "energy" meeting, explain in your paper why you
think it is. No penalties for novel approaches. In a few paragraphs discuss the following:
1) what did the speakers say?
2) what did you think about what they said?
3) what did you learn?
4) how might the meeting or event have been made better?
Events off-campus receive bonus points. Check the schedules of the Academy of Natural Sciences of
Philadelphia, Penn Future, and other organizations and groups.
On campus look for seminars and lectures at the Kleinman Center for Energy Policy, the School of Design, the
Wharton Energy Club, the Wharton Undergraduate Energy Group, and the Earth & Environmental Sciences
Department.
