Are psychics fakes?
In our reading this week in the Further Thought section called "Eyewitness Testimony and Extraordinary Things", we find two studies that explain why eyewitness observations are most often not reliable. On the one hand, our senses are not as acute as we think, and on the other, our mental state has a lot to do with what we notice and what we remember.
