For your field interview, you will identify a crisis intervention professional who works in the field of grief, stress, or trauma in his or her community who is willing to be interviewed. Your chosen professional must have experience in or work in a field related to your research topic. After reminding us of your topic, you will then submit the professional’s name, title, qualifications, general location, and number of years in the field. You must gain instructor approval prior to conducting the field interview.
Field interview questions
In preparation for your field interview, you will create at least 10 questions to be submitted for instructor review. Questions must be relevant to crisis intervention and your chosen research topic. Attempt to cover a range of topics within your questions. Your questions may cover topics including dealing with culture, ethics, spirituality, qualifications, training, avoiding burnout and vicarious trauma, and other pertinent issues.
