Assume you are the CIO of an investment company. You are considering a stake in either Apple or HP. You must conduct an in depth financial analysis of both companies for the past two years. The key question to answer is should your company acquire a stake in either of the two companies, and if so, which one is the most attractive. The research should be strategically centered around the question " would you invest your financial capital in the selected firm as a shareholder?"
