You have been asked to help give a community talk about the needs of senior citizens. Your task will include describing issued faced by senior citizens in your community. You will focus on the theoretical concepts learned in class. You will end your talk by applying those concepts to the development of a senior citizen community center.
Focus on the following:
- Developmental Pathways (risk/resilience)
- Adults’ developmental needs across the lifespan
- Theory of Gains and Losses
- Cultural needs
- Contextual factors (e.g., living conditions, family situations)
