Choose a work of art from Chapter 4. In this discussion you will describe that work
of art to your classmates. They cannot see the work of art, so you must explain the visual elements and
principles utilized by the artist to create the work. Describe the work of art utilizing the terms related to the
elements and principles of design. DO NOT talk about the content of the work. DO NOT include the Title or
Artist in your post. DO NOT include a photograph of the work.
When responding to each other’s posts explain how you are able (or not able) to determine which work of art is
being described. Be sure to give an explanation of your process of deciding which work of art they are
describing.
Utilize the design terms from Chapter's 3 and 4, to describe the work of art you have selected.
Write a minimum of 200 words. Initial Post will be due on Wed, and your responses to your peers will be due
by Sunday. By Sunday, if no one has correctly identified your image, reveal which image you were describing.
