FSVSM Supply Chain Order Description   Now that you have mapped the current process it is important to walk the process, tracing the flow indicated on your Current State Value Stream Map (CSVSM). Be sure to note how things are processed and looking for the eight wastes of lean along the way. You will find many interesting and often simple ways to improve a process by merely walking the process. If there are multiple people responsible for the same process, note the differences and if there is a need for a standard procedure. This is part of the six sigma standardization which reduces discrepancies. Develop your desired Future State Value Stream Map (FSVSM).
