Future Directions in Contemporary Learning and Education

For this assessment, you will analyze how educational in" rel="nofollow">innovations are in" rel="nofollow">influencin" rel="nofollow">ing nursin" rel="nofollow">ing education and how you, as a nurse educator, can use these in" rel="nofollow">innovations to create a rich learnin" rel="nofollow">ing environment for your students. You will begin" rel="nofollow">in this assessment by identifyin" rel="nofollow">ing a course that you will develop. This course could be used in" rel="nofollow">in a formal academic settin" rel="nofollow">ing, or it could be used by a nurse educator in" rel="nofollow">in a clin" rel="nofollow">inical settin" rel="nofollow">ing. As part of your assessment, you will analyze an educational in" rel="nofollow">innovation and its effect on student outcomes. You will use current literature to provide examples of how the in" rel="nofollow">innovation is currently bein" rel="nofollow">ing used in" rel="nofollow">in organizations, and how they have benefited from this in" rel="nofollow">innovation. You will also explore how this in" rel="nofollow">innovation has impacted the role of the nurse educator. Additionally, you will conceptualize a course of your choice, usin" rel="nofollow">ing the in" rel="nofollow">innovation you have selected. You will also examin" rel="nofollow">ine how you would go about solicitin" rel="nofollow">ing feedback from your nursin" rel="nofollow">ing/nurse educator peers and how you would evaluate that feedback about the chosen in" rel="nofollow">innovation. Further, you will discuss in" rel="nofollow">insights you have gain" rel="nofollow">ined through your research as well as how you may use this in" rel="nofollow">innovation for the future. Fin" rel="nofollow">inally, you will reflect upon your development as a nurse educator, to stay abreast of technological and educational in" rel="nofollow">innovations. Requirements: A. Identify one of the followin" rel="nofollow">ing educational in" rel="nofollow">innovations that you will use to impact student outcomes in" rel="nofollow">in your course: • MOOC (Massive Open Onlin" rel="nofollow">ine Course) • adaptive learnin" rel="nofollow">ing technologies • simulation/gamin" rel="nofollow">ing strategies • flipped classroom settin" rel="nofollow">ing • in" rel="nofollow">inquiry-based learnin" rel="nofollow">ing 1. Discuss how you might solicit feedback from your nursin" rel="nofollow">ing/nurse educator peers about the chosen in" rel="nofollow">innovation used in" rel="nofollow">in your course from part B. a. Discuss how you would evaluate feedback from your nursin" rel="nofollow">ing/nurse educator peers about the chosen in" rel="nofollow">innovation used in" rel="nofollow">in your course. 2.
