In OCT 2017 General Milley identified 6 modernization priorities that will enable the Army to better prepare for current and future conflict. In one of the priorities he identified that the Army will make use of Synthetic Training Environments (STE) to increase training levels and task proficiency. The Combined Arms Center (CAC) created the Synthetic Training Environment White Paper to expand upon the meaning of the STE and how the Army will use it to train in the future.
Read through the " All Sources" espacially the "STE White Paper" and describe what role you see the Signal Regiment has to develop and enable the STE. Also identify how the Signal Regiment should make use of the STE to better train its force and prepare it for current and future threats (i.e. cyber threats, space, EW).
