Write an annotated bibliography for 4 peer reviewed articles written in for experts in your discipline. The
summary in your annotated bibliography should be written to the general audience. Your summary should
not sound the same as the abstracts of the articles. (no word count for this section because it’s as long as
it needs to be). Most annotated bibliographies ask for three parts: 1. Summary of article. 2. Evaluation of
article. 3. Reflection on if you will use the article. Focus your annotated bib on the summary and skip the
evaluation and reflection (you will include a different type of reflection in Part 2).
Write a brief reflection on your experience writing the annotated bibliography, particularly the insights you
gained about the needs of the expert audience versus the lay audience. (The peer-reviewed articles are
likely written to experts and your summary of them is for the general/lay audience)
