CASE STUDY: 38 year old women BMI of 36 - classified as obese. Gestational Diabetes diagnosed at 27weeks. Past History of polycystic ovarian syndrome, both mother and father had type 2 diabetes. Women had high blood pressure throughout pregnancy. Gestational Diabetes was diet controlled through out pregnancy and no insulin or medication was needed. No previous pregnancies. Elective C-section as mother was fearful of macrosomia baby due to Gestational diabetes and ultrasounds during pregnancy were measuring a large baby.
