Global issue ( choose any)

Global issue ( choose any)   Order Description   Choose a global topic, it can be something we have discussed or something you are interested in but consult with me first if it was not one of the class general weekly topics and write a 10-12 page paper about it. For example, you may look at one of the topics in depth in a country or region (Effects of the Olympics in a city, underdevelopment in China, the water crisis in Canada, etc.) Your paper must include an introduction, a body where most of your research will be discussed, a conclusion, and APA formatted bibliography. If you include a cover page, it does not count towards your page total. Your paper must have at least 3 academic sources (journal articles or books) but you can also use internet resources. Graphs and charts can be used but use them sparingly and as needed, not to fill up pages. Start with a broad question you want to answer, formulate a hypothesis or thesis statement that can answer your question and spend the rest of the paper providing evidence to support your thesis/hypothesis. Example: Question: What were the economic effects of the Olympics in Rio? Thesis statement: The economy of Rio did not benefit from the Olympics because it invested too much and now will be in debt for a long time. The paper must be typed in double spaced Times New Roman or Calibri font.
