Habit Monitoring/Change Project
* Why did you choose this habit to change? * Did you attempt to work on this project in the past? If so, how much success did you have? What worked and what didn't? * What was your initial goal? * How did you monitor your progress? Did you change your system during the semester? Why/how? * What was your level of motivation and readiness to change, both at the beginning and throughout the semester? * What strategies did you try this semester? What worked and what didn't? What strategies might be good to try in the future? * What obstacles did you encounter?
* Most importantly: How did the readings or presentations from class inform your habit change effort (or what you learned from it)? [This should be a substantial part of your analysis, b/c the point is to link your change effort with what you learned from class.]
• Overall, how successful were you in reaching your goal? How satisfied are you with your progress, and why? It is okay to not be successful. I'd rather you be truthful and gain insight in the challenges than make up some crap and not learn a single thing about yourself ;)
• What steps can you take in the near future to either: a) continue to improve your habit or b) prevent relapse? Be please be specific, do not just copy and paste down the slides from lecture. Really think about what you are trying to accomplish and what may get in the way.
• What were some of the main lessons you teamed from this experience?
• Do you have new research hypotheses based on this experience? • How has this experience affected your approach to helping other people change? • Other comments/insights of your own, as appropriate
