Apache Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) is a free, open-source implementation of a distributed file system as described by the Google File System white paper. In addition to the reference implementation main" rel="nofollow">intain" rel="nofollow">ined by the Apache Software Foundation, there are many other free and commercial implementations of Hadoop offered by companies such as MapR Technologies, Cloudera, Hortonworks, Wandisco, and several others. Research at least three distributions of Hadoop, startin" rel="nofollow">ing with the Apache distribution and in" rel="nofollow">includin" rel="nofollow">ing two others. Write a brief paper comparin" rel="nofollow">ing and contrastin" rel="nofollow">ing the features, strengths, and weaknesses of the distributions.
