Hazard Report Order Description HAZARD REPORT BASED ON SOUTH AUSTRALIAN LAWS: Written Hazard Report (1500 words) - should be structured with meanin" rel="nofollow">ingful headin" rel="nofollow">ings ( see specific requirements below) to ensure it is easy to understand. Penalties apply for each 10% under or over the word limit. You are encouraged to review appropriate report formats on which to model your report, as this will count in" rel="nofollow">in the marks awarded for presentation. References: Your report should draw on at least 10-15 references which may in" rel="nofollow">include case law, legislation, text books, journal articles and government websites. SOUTH AUSTRALIA Specific report requirements: Identify, describe and assess 3 hazards in" rel="nofollow">in the case study (10 marks) Identify at least three significant hazards or issues that need to be addressed which currently pose a risk to worker health and safety in" rel="nofollow">in the case study workplace. Explain" rel="nofollow">in how these hazards arise. Assess the risk (3 only) usin" rel="nofollow">ing a suitable assessment tool (which should be in" rel="nofollow">included in" rel="nofollow">in an Appendix to the report). Make recommendations for control and management of hazards (10 marks) Make recommendations based on the 'hierarchy of control' and 'as low as reasonably practical' for the three most significant hazards and/or other issues that should be addressed. Document these three in" rel="nofollow">in a risk register. Outlin" rel="nofollow">ine the Legal implications (10 marks) Briefly identify and outlin" rel="nofollow">ine the relevant legislation (Act, Regulations and Codes) that applies to the (three) hazards and/or issues you identified. Written report presentation (5 marks) The report should be presented as a professional document designed to be received by a senior management representative in" rel="nofollow">in the organisation. It should in" rel="nofollow">include: a title page, table of contents, brief summary of fin" rel="nofollow">indin" rel="nofollow">ings (executive summary), body of report (in" rel="nofollow">includin" rel="nofollow">ing suitable headin" rel="nofollow">ings), conclusions and appendices where relevant. Appendices necessary to support the report fin" rel="nofollow">indin" rel="nofollow">ings will not be in" rel="nofollow">included in" rel="nofollow">in the word count, although material in" rel="nofollow">in the appendices should be min" rel="nofollow">inimised as it detracts from overall presentation.
