Historical book review

Submit a historical book review covering US history from 1607-1877. The work will be non-fiction, written by a historian, 4-5 pages typed, and incorporate a minimum of two other reviews written by historians on the same book. Step 1 is to go the San Antonio College web page. Under Library look for Lib-guides at the top. Type in my name Greg Johnston. 1301 Book reviews. Aligns with the following SLOs

1. Show the argument/thesis present by the historian.
2. Determine what primary and secondary sources were used.
3. Describe the effects of historical, social, political, economic, cultural and global forces on this period of US History.
4. What were the effects of the choices and actions?
5. Analyze the influence of civic engagement on the development of the community effected in this work.
