HISTORY OF LATIN AMERICA

Order Description Students will write 2 papers, each one a 3-page analysis of TWO primary documents related to the themes of the class. Please double space the essays and use a 12-poin" rel="nofollow">int Times New Roman font. You are welcome to use any of the primary documents we have read in" rel="nofollow">in the Consider the Source book. Each paper should have an in" rel="nofollow">introduction and clear thesis statement, topic sentences for each paragraph, and a conclusion. For any document analysis, you need to place the document in" rel="nofollow">into its historical context, analyze the content of the document itself, and thin" rel="nofollow">ink about why the author was writin" rel="nofollow">ing it. Your thesis should reflect the argument you are makin" rel="nofollow">ing about the document. You should only need the document itself and its in" rel="nofollow">introduction in" rel="nofollow">in Consider the Source and the relevant section from the textbook that helps to place it in" rel="nofollow">into context. When citin" rel="nofollow">ing or quotin" rel="nofollow">ing from the book, please just use parenthetical citations, like this (Charlip and Burns, 68).
