You need to create an info-graphic on an environmental topic about evolution, biodiversity, and community ecology and write a 300-words summary on it. Please follow the instructions below to complete the assignment:
Step 1: Research Question
• Come up with a research question related to environmental studies that you want to explore, for example:
o Which has less environmental impacts: Paper or Plastic Bags?
o How does cheat grass impact the fire cycle?
o How is climate change impacted by deforestation?
o What are effective ways to teach kids about gardening/food systems?
• The Uploaded Textbook is a chapter about evolution, biodiversity, and community ecology. You can pick any topic around this area to finish the project. Don't worry about referencing the chapter too much.
• Ideas for research questions:
o Compare the environmental impacts of 2 things (for example eBooks vs. textbooks, paper bags vs, plastic, hybrid vs. electric vehicles, etc.) and decide which option is more environmentally friendly.
o Focus on the impacts of a specific issue or product (for example impacts of an iPhone, garbage in the ocean, benefits of solar energy, etc.). Include solutions as well.
o Explore an environmental issue that you want to learn more about.
Step 2. Infographic Making
• Create your infographic using your own template or one of the following sites: https://www.canva.com/create/infographics/

• Infographic MUST include the following things:
o Your research question
o Evidence from your research and/or service learning experience that analyzes/supports this question
o At least 2 images/charts
o Your conclusions, possible solutions
Step 3. Please include a written summary (minimum 300 words) that includes ALL of the following:
• Your research question and your hypothesis
• What you learned from your research (your evidence) and your conclusions. (If you were in the field for service learning, you can discuss how you collected your data and use this hands-on service as one of your sources.)
• Describe 2 specific course topics that this relate to this issue.
o You need to choose these 2 topics from the Uploaded Textbook
• Why you chose this topic.
• 3 Academic sources for your data. Use APA to properly cite your sources.
I also uploaded an APA_Requirement.pdf and you must refer to it and write 100% correct in-text citations and "References" Page. Failure to use correct citations will fail me in the essay since my professor was extremely picky. Points will be based on the following:
• Content (75%): Questions answered completely and show evidence of critical thinking and careful reading of textbook. Answers are thorough.
• Mechanics, spelling, grammar (5%): No spelling, mechanical errors
• Structure (5%): Writing is clear and well-structured, organized.
• Infographic design is visually appealing and applies course content. (10%)
• Proper citing of textbook pages and other sources used (5%)
