How environmental factors affect actors

Now, read the case again and this time, take notes about the things that YOU feel are important. Try to answer questions such as:

  1. What industry or sector is the case about?
  2. Are there any obvious issues or problems in the case - what are they?
  3. Take note of any questions posed in the case; Questions may come from any of the “people” identified in the case, but are often from a manager or CEO point of view.
  4. If the case is a class assignment, there may be other requirements. Check with your instructor if you are uncertain about what the assignment is all about.
  5. Do you see any patterns that the organizations in the case have followed in the past, if so, what are they?
  6. Take note of any facts of the case
    Analyze this:
Most cases describe background and environmental factors that may or may not have an impact on the actors and situations of the case. Try to weed out things that are unimportant, but be aware, although some things may seem unimportant now, as you get further into the case, you may find that actually, those things were important.
