Watch the documentary below entitled How to Let Go of the World, directed by Josh Fox. It's over two hours long, so make sure you set aside some time. As you watch, use the attached form or make your own version of the following specific kind of notes:
1.Split your paper into two columns with a line down the middle (template in the file section)
2.On the left-hand side, detail your observations about the film (i.e. this is what I heard/saw). Note the time signature (how far you were into the film).
3.On the right-hand side, explain what this observation means. Why is Fox choosing to include this information or anecdote? How does it help him make his argument?
4.Repeat at least ten times and include observations from various points throughout the film. (In other words, if all your observations are from the first 30 minutes, I am going to take that to mean that you didn't watch the whole thing and you won't get full credit. -Professor
