HOW TO WRITE A SCRIPT

Dialogue: Given that an audio drama is a kind of radio play, your script will be driven by and consist almost entirely of dialogue. Make sure that the dialogue of each dinner party attendee accurately reflects or represents his or her character. For this assignment, dialogue will do the bulk of the characterization.
Setting: You and your group members will decide when, where, and why your characters meet. Try to pick a place and/or occasion that will add something to the plot or conversation. Be inventive with your choices.
Discussion Topics: What will your characters talk about? Why? And what will their discussion contributions reveal to us about who they are (in themselves and in relation to the others)?
Affinities/Conflicts: Like real people meeting for the first time, your characters will learn that they are both attracted to and/or repelled by certain behaviors, opinions, even affectations exhibited by the other characters. Think about how you will show this to us in your script and through the characters’ conversation.
