Order Description
Instructional Unit: Goals, Objectives, and the Teachin" rel="nofollow">ing Plans
This week you will submit your in" rel="nofollow">instructional unit, which should in" rel="nofollow">include three lesson plans: one focused on patient education, one on family education, and one on staff
development. Remember, your plans should demonstrate a logical approach to teachin" rel="nofollow">ing, communicate what is to be taught and how, and outlin" rel="nofollow">ine how objectives are to be
evaluated.
Buildin" rel="nofollow">ing on the work that you started in" rel="nofollow">in Week 2, for all three groups of learners:
• Write several broad in" rel="nofollow">instructional goals for the educational experience.
• Write several behavioral objectives based on Bloom’s taxonomy.
• Describe the lesson content.
• Provide a sequence for teachin" rel="nofollow">ing activities.
• Describe in" rel="nofollow">instructional methods.
• Indicate time allotted for each activity.
• Identify and describe the in" rel="nofollow">instructional resources (materials, tools, etc.) and technology to be used.
• Describe how the learnin" rel="nofollow">ing will be evaluated.
On a separate references page, cite all sources usin" rel="nofollow">ing APA format.
Lesson Components
At a min" rel="nofollow">inimum, each fin" rel="nofollow">inal lesson must contain" rel="nofollow">in the followin" rel="nofollow">ing components:
Introduction:
• Provide the title of the lesson.
• Identify and describe the learners.
• Include Learner Assessment: educational level, developmental level, readin" rel="nofollow">iness to learn, etc.
• Describe the educational settin" rel="nofollow">ing: (staff development, patient education, family education, etc.).
Purpose and rationale for the lesson(s):
• Provide a rationale for selectin" rel="nofollow">ing this lesson.
• Describe the philosophical or theoretical basis for teachin" rel="nofollow">ing approaches used in" rel="nofollow">in the lesson.
Statement of goals and objectives:
