Identifying data trends using Tableau

Looking at identifying data trends using Tableau, creating a form in Excel, and creating a dash board in Excel this week based on the data you selected.
Analysis Requirements:
Based on your readings and peer reviewed literature use the template provided to complete this assignment
Review the video below and the handout on Tableau basics to assist you in making a bar chart in Tableau.
To obtain data for this case:
Download a data set from data.gov. How to Download from data gov.docx How to Download from data gov.docx - Alternative Formats
Use Tableau to identify any trends in the data set you downloaded by creating a bar chart. Be sure you have some correlation in your chart. Ex. temperature
and amount of snow fall.
Based on the trends you identified with the data you selected design a spreadsheet in Excel to obtain additional information you feel is needed. Be sure the
spreadsheet incorporates the necessary data entry controls for the data you identified. You must use advance features like data validation, drop down boxes,
conditional formatting, etc. Test your spreadsheet with 3-5 entries.
Going back to your original data set create a dashboard in Excel to better visualize the data you downloaded, be sure to keep proper data visualization
techniques in mind. Include 2 items on your dashboard.
As part of your discussion identify how the spreadsheet you created will improve overall data input controls as far as the accuracy or consistency of the
needed data and how the dashboard will provide for further data analysis.
