A child’s IEP establishes the appropriate services a school is to deliver to a child eligible under IDEA. At times, however, schools fail to deliver all of the services required by the IEP. Is perfect implementation of the IEP required by law? When does the imperfect implementation of an IEP violate the law? Read “Van Duyn v. Baker School District: A Material Improvement in Evaluating a School District's Failure to Implement Individualized Education Programs”(law review article to be emailed by instructor to students). In 3-5 pages discuss what the Courts have held on this issue. Have you confronted the issue of imperfect implementation in your school district? What were your assumptions about the legal implications of these failures prior to reading the above law review article? What are your assumptions now? What does this mean to your understanding of FAPE?

2.The benefits to Virgil of having sight restored

Write a 1-2 page response that addresses whether you believe Amy did the right thing in pushing for the surgery.What are the benefits to Virgil of having his sight restored? What were the negatives? Knowing what you now know, who would you recommend have this surgery?

3.Social Psychology

In 750-1,000 words, review research related to Social Psychology . Identify the type of research (survey, experiment, etc.) used with the study and evaluate the appropriateness of that methodology. Summarize the advantages and disadvantages of using an Internet site as a means of collecting data in psychological research. Elaborate on any potential confounds or ethical concerns noted while participating in the study.
