Incorporating Vision into Change Leadership

John Kotter states, “Vision plays a key role in producing useful change by helping to direct, align, and inspire actions on the part of large numbers of people” (Kotter, pg. 7). In this essay you again explore the concept of leadership vision, drawing from your own experiences and expanding on what you learned through discussion with your classmates. In your essay, address the following: Drawing from your own experiences, what value do you feel leadership vision has on the change process? As a leader of change, how would you go about making your vision your organization’s vision? What strategies would you use to effectively communicate your vision so that others in the organization will share it? Why is this crucial to the change process?
