Students will study research features, processes, and current trends in human resources management in healthcare. The student will present their recommendations in power-point formation and will produce an authored quality human resource presentation on the subject that will be turned in as the final human resource management assignment for the course. This individual project provides an opportunity to conduct a thorough investigation on a subject area of your choice (related to a Human Resource Problem/Issue) and propose a solution on that issue. In the power-point, the student will discuss human resource strategies that are being used in a particular company/organization to achieve the competitive advantage. The final presentation is to focus on the main theme of the course, which is how to use human resource strategies and techniques to improve an organization’s competitive position compared to other firms in its industry.
